November 13, 2024:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host the SCIRA Fall 2024 Workshop on Applying Culturally Relevant Practices to the Illinois Comprehensive Literacy Plan with Sophie Degener and Hannah Graham from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at National Louis University, 1000 Capitol Drive, Wheeling, Illinois.

February 11, 2025:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host SCIRA Winter Conference from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at National Louis University, 1000 Capitol Drive, Wheeling, Illinois.

March 13-14, 2025:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 56th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2025.

June 17, 2025:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host the SCIRA Summer Renewal Conference from 8:15 am to 2:30 pm at the Holiday Inn & Suites Northshore-Skokie, 5300 W Touhy, Skokie, Illinois.
