October 1, 2026:  Lake Area Reading Council (LARC) will host a Membership Drive from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Bliss, 201 S Main St Ste A, Wauconda, Illinois.

November 7, 2026:  Lake Area Reading Council (LARC) will host Curing the Secondary Reading Epidemic by Cultivating Engaged Readers with Niki Woodruff and Katie Hoving from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Lake Forest ROE, 1905 W Field Ct, Lake Forest, Illinois.

March 11-12, 2027:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 58th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2027.
