January 1, 2010: Illinois Council for Affective Reading Education (ICARE) is accepting nominations for the annual Gene Cramer ICARE for Reading Award. The Nomination Form is available online. The award will be presented at the IRC Conference in March.
January 18, 2010: Illinois Council for Affective Reading Education (ICARE) is accepting original manuscripts about Abraham Lincoln for the Thinkin' and Inkin' About Lincoln, a Book Created for Illinois Students, By Illinois Students. The specifications and timeline for the project are available online. Please notify Roxanne Owens if you plan to submit a manuscript and for further details about the project.
