Guidelines for submitting information for IRC Communicator
The Mission of the IRC COMMUNICATOR is to provide information and resources to members as they promote and teach lifelong literacy. Please submit articles directly to Carrie Sheridan at the IRC Office. Email is the easiest way, and Word documents are preferred. No article should exceed 500 words. Preferred length is 300-350 words. Articles submitted as part of your commitment for Literacy Support Grant should not exceed 250-300 words in length. Articles may be edited due to fit the space available. Articles submitted past the below due date may not be published.
Fall Issue due by September 15th– Support for New Teachers Winter Issue due by November 1st– Assessments Spring Issue due by February 1st– Digital Literacy Summer Issue due by May 1st– Equity in Education
Welcome to the “Illinois Authors’ Corner” that showcases new releases from our fabulous Illinois Authors and IRC members. If you would like to include your new release in the next IRC Communicator, please submit information this form. IRC Members also have the option of including a 3 to 5 sentence description and a book cover.
