50 Years of Reading Excellence October 5 - 7, 2017 Peoria, Illinois
Thousands of literacy advocates, educators, and researchers will gather from October 5-7, 2017 for the 50th Annual IRC Conference, 50 Years of Reading Excellence, at the Peoria Civic Center and Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette Hotel in Peoria, Illinois.
Registering? Pre-register for the 2017 IRC Conference by returning the Registration Form by Mail/Fax or on the secured Online Conference Registration System. Please note that the early registration with discounted prices has been extended to September 22, 2017! The online registration form will close on September 27, 2017. If registering by mail, on-site registration is recommended for those registering after September 15, 2017. Please note that the meal functions require pre-purchased tickets and will not be available for purchase on-site. Individuals who need special accommodations must make specific requests in writing to the IRC Office at least three weeks prior to the conference. Not an IRC Member? Register today for $205 and it includes your conference registration for $160 and membership fees for $45 for a savings of $5. Fill out the conference registration form ONLY and indicating your preferred local or special interest council to join.
Interested in Group Rates? Discounted rates are available for groups of 10+ participants. For more information, please see the Group Registration Form.
Housing Reservations? Special rates have been negotiated at Peoria area hotels. To obtain these special rates, reservations must be made directly with the hotels either by phone or online by August 15, 2017. Some of the East Peoria Hotels will provide guests with complimentary shuttle to and from the Peoria Civic Center. Shuttle arrangements can be made directly with the front desk at each hotel. Interested in PD Clock Hours or University Course Credit? Forms for PD Clock Hours will be available at the conference in your Final Program Book. The University of St. Francis is also offering conference attendees an opportunity to earn one to three hours of graduate credit.
